Sales increased significantly with Stavanger Optikk's new design
The premises in the historic city courtyard were restored and remodeled, where custom designed furniture places both eyeglass frames and the optician profession on display. ELEMENT developed a shelfing concept that provides a good overview of the store and the selection of frames, in contrast to conventional shelves and glass cabinets for presentation. The shelves are made from oiled birch veneer with white laminate coating. The framing workstation was moved from the back room and into the shop itself. Glass walls dividing the shop from the vision testing room show off the store’s various machines and instruments, while also inviting us to observe this part of the optical profession. In the room itself, the height of the ceiling has been increased and the original brick walls have been retrieved.
