A book on sustainability written in a unique partnership with Harvard University
Three Scandinavian architectural schools and nine renowned Scandinavian architect firms present projects and their sustainability aspects. ELEMENT, Helen & Hard and Snøhetta were responsible for the Norwegian contributions. Cathrine writes about The Teacher’s House and D36, and the importance of integrated art in these projects. The editors of the book are Ali Malkawi from the Harvard Center of Green Buildings and Cities (Cambridge), Anne Beim from the Royal Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation (Copenhagen), Erik Stenberg from the KTH School of Architecture and the Built Environment (Stockholm), and Marius Nygaard from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.
